I say this all of the time but he gives it more legitimacy due to the fact that he was living the life in the music. I think hip hop culture has betrayed our young people and programmed them for a life that leads to an early grave or prison. We also agree on the significance of class over racism. The more you learn about wealth, the more obvious it becomes. And that's not to say racism doesn't exist, but classism is much, much more pervasive and they keep us from noticing by constantly pointing out racism. It's a thing.
